In the ever presence of vanity, pride and inhumanity to humankind, is it at possible that the feeble humble request of the faithful lips restrain, accelerate and upturn the current order of illogical events in our culture? While yes, prayer can and will always make things that are not to become as though they were intended! Send out your and my petitions before God, forever remaining deeply convicted that “His Will, not mine, be done.” -A.E. Thornton-
Brothers and Sisters, it has been 50 years since the U.S. Supreme Court first ruled that government-endorsed prayer in public schools is unconstitutional. Such misguided legislation forever changed the manner in-which faith and religious education would be handled in schools. It also sets the foundation for this never to be resolved debate over the subjective interpretation of the separation church and state. View the pros and cons of this debate: http://www.allabouthistory.org/pros-and-cons-of-prayer-in-school-faq.htm
In 1958, Steven Engel, a Jewish New Yorker sued the New York State over what he and other parents claimed was a state-endorsed prayer within the schools. June 25, 1962 the Courts inevitable sided with Engel. The invocation in question was approved by the NY State Board of Regents, which read,
“Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our Country.”
The lone dissent of a 6-1 (two justices did not participate in the decision) came from Potter Stewart, who argued that the majority had “misapplied a great constitutional principle” and could not understand “how an official religion” is established by letting those who want to say a prayer say it. On the contrary, I think to deny the wish of these school children to join in reciting this prayer is to deny them the opportunity of sharing in the spiritual heritage of our Nation.”
I and any free thinking human being while reading the above-mentioned invocation can see that the school was not promoting “An official religion.” Yet within a year later, the courts banned Bible reading while permitting the teaching of evolution thus this decision among others was the planned eradication of prayer and religious studies from schools.
History Makers Breaking News!!!
Here in Georgia, many are excited that there is a strong opportunity to Change History. A Prayer Initiative Bill for Prayer In School has been introduced into the House of Representatives in Georgia as #816. This Bill has currently been assigned to the Judiciary Committee. Steven Engel, his wife, the other seven parents along with the Supreme Court were very wrong on their hostility toward faith and the freedom of religious practice in a “Free Society.” Now is an important time for this generation to actively transform our very culture that has lost it way. Please consider to get involved!
My request to you on social media is for you to post this Bill number 816 on all of the social media sites for support and constant prayer daily. I ask also for you to call the Chairman Judiciary Committee Wendel Willard @ 404.656.5125 telling him you are supporting Bill #816 because you like many Americans, want Prayers In Schools.
SAVE THE DATE
There will be a Press Conference on February 8th at the Georgia House of Representatives. If your schedule permits, please join others and myself to attend the Press Conference at the Capital from 12 noon-2 pm. By coming out in unity and solidarity is of grave importance in the passage of this Bill. Please feel free to call 678.992.3877 for questions concerning the contents of this blog.

Those who are committed to prayer and intercession, please join with me in corporate prayer each day that our Heavenly Father will move upon the hearts of those whom are in positions of power and influence to overturn this current ruling against prayer in Schools.
Currently I am planning a Corporate Prayer and Community Rally to push this Prayer Initiative Bill #816 on Feb. 5, 2016 at a predetermined location that will be announced shortly.
“Prayer is not a way of making use of God; prayer is a way of offering ourselves to God in order that He should be able to make use of us. It may be that one of our great faults in prayer is that we talk too much and listen too little. When prayer is at its highest, we wait in silence for God’s voice to us.” -William Barclay-
Please pass this blog post on to as many of your inner-circle contacts up to the February 8th Press Conference. Thanks and God Blessings on you and all of your household.
Grace and Peace
