The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inner depths of the heart.
Proverbs 20:27
***
Within each living soul, our Creator has given us a spirit. This spirit enables us to know God, understand Him thus develop intimacy to worship and serve Him. There are various conditions of one’s spirit during one’s lifetime, which may reveal the person’s level of spirituality or the lack thereof. The two main conditions are a soul that is unregenerate and the other is a soul that is regenerate. Below, I will very briefly describe the two while leaving two other links for your personal reading.
Unregenerate
An unregenerate spirit is one that is not connected to the Creator nor has the ability to interact with the Holy Spirit. Nonetheless, all souls are immortalized by God thus while we are here on earth, thus, each of us have two soul-care responses: to neglect which leads to death, or to nurture which leads to life. Our Creator is the One who has made us, and not ourselves thus, an unregenerate soul lacks the ability to honor and please God based upon His standards and guidelines. In and of one’s human ability, an unregenerate soul lacks the means of knowing the hidden things within one’s heart.[ “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things. It is incurable. No one can understand how deceitful it is.” Jeremiah 17:9].
In order to change this condition, the soul must under go a New Genesis.

Regenerate
A regenerate spirit is a soul which has encountered the Creator through the illumination of the power and internal ministry of the Holy Spirit. Messiah throughout the Holy Scriptures proclaims to be the Light of the World. In this expression, the hidden truth is that each human-being is in need for more than the physical light of the world [wisdom, knowledge, understanding]. Each immoral soul is in need of spiritual truth which is the Light of Eternal Life. Those who perceive this True Light, will never walk in spiritual darkness. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, a regenerate soul now can examine their own heart, the inter-most recesses of it, and reflect upon their thoughts and schemes, and judge in some measure, whether right or wrong via the work of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures.

Igniting the Souls of Humankind
Followers of Messiah were instructed and were expected to emulate essentially everything The Master did and taught. Such was the instructions to be come the light of the world.
In Matthew 5:14, Jesus tells His disciples, “You are the light of the world”. As “light”, followers of Messiah were to counteract the power of sin. This must begin within the very heart of each follower, then is to be extended outside of the individual, and into the world as a witness. The redeemed and forgiven of God perhaps, will be the Only Messiah that the unregenerate souls will see on earth.
As “light” we are to illuminate or make visible. Our lives are to be an on-going witness to the reality of Messiah’s presence in our lives. When we worship God with pure hearts, when we love others as ourselves, and when we do good without growing weary, we are lights shining. It is important, however to know that it is not our light, but the reflection of the Light of the world, Messiah, that people will see in us.
Closing Sentiments
My prayer is that this blog will serve somehow as a tool in the Hands of God to encourage the followers of Messiah to be light in the earth, equally, may His Spirit forever impact those who do not know Messiah yet each day of your life, you do know:
- Darkness within our soul.
- You are devoid of the coming pitfalls and danger of very poor to bad choices in your life.
- You are without safety and protection.
- You are unloved.
- You are without hope.
You do not have to grope in darkness. Messiah is there for you and your family. Regardless your condition of your heart, God has provided you an opportunity to experience a New Genesis. I pray that this spiritual regeneration is made possible for you, in the Name of Christ. Amen
Grace and Peace
