Don’t put your servant on trial, for no one is innocent before you.
Psalm 143:2
King David in the above Psalm, expresses his personal plea for mercy because, throughout his life, he has come to realize that he cannot stand before the Holiness of God on the basis of his human ability. During King David’s relationship with the Creator, his very best position before God is that of humility in an effort at obtaining from God one of the most important keys of successfully ambulating through this life, God’s Mercy! What about you? How will the scales of Righteous Justice of God swing for your life?
To Wander About or Move From One Place To Another
Whether a human soul is safely knitted within the womb of its mother; or being conceived at the appointed time by our Creator. Perhaps it is during the most precious times of being held or learning to crawl, to stand which leads to one’s first step in this life. Shortly after multiple efforts, walking leads to running which oftentimes correctly depicts just how quickly our living on this earth is; a track meet.
Whatever means in which one is able to physically ambulate during their encounter in this life, there is one absolute truth, we all shall stumble and fall many times. [see James 3:2-3] This reality runs the gambit of all humanity regardless of one’s spirituality or not. No human being will transition out of this world without sin and or moral failure. For the Godfearers such as King David, have accepted their fallen fleshly nature in a healthy Biblical worldview of spiritual knowledge and humility, while realizing that apart from an intimate relationship with God through the faithful works of Christ Jesus, they cannot do anything to escape God’s judgment. [see John 15:5]
The Granting of Spiritual Blessings from Above
Godfearers who are committed to abiding in Messiah while learning to mature in this life will be granted very special heavenly gifts, for everything in one’s union with Messiah is an expression of their learned discipline and total dependence on the Father for their total being and healthy soul-care. [see 1 Cor.4:7]
The granting of spiritual blessings and or gifts from God is one of the means that assist each Godfearer to grow into a spiritually mature follower in spite of our human weaknesses and flaws. The healthy tension between these realities [spirituality and our humanity] is the essence of how the virtue of humility must be learned by each Godfearer in order to obtain the applied Grace of God upon our accounts for the duration of our journey, until the end of this age. Those who endure until the end shall be saved! Matthew 24:1-13
Right Standing With God
In our culture, we have been taught that our worth and importance is measured from what we accomplish, whether it is our families, our jobs or skill or self- importance. Throughout the Holy Scriptures, revolutionary liberational new wisdom/knowledge is noted that there is nothing that a human being can do that will render us righteous before God. The most important revelation that a human being can obtain is that each of us is naked, miserable, flawed, weak and frightened. Until God reveal Himself to each of us, we all will have an unhealthy distorted view of who we really are!
In closing, the healthy worldview that will grant humanity God’s favor is learning to live in faith in the finished working of Christ Jesus. Then and only then can each of us who are followers of Messiah can obtain the grace of God via our union in Messiah life-changing works.
It is my deepest prayer that each of you discover the most wonderful spiritual wisdom and knowledge that King David obtained in Psalm 143:2, that your own personal relationship with the Creator, will be that of the position of humility in an effort at obtaining from God one of the most important keys of successfully ambulating through this life, God’s Mercy!
