Outcry for Personal and Statewide Spiritual Revival
If my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practices, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
My sister Janice Stewart, who lives in Columbus, Ohio sent me an email outlining an upcoming event for the Believers from Ohio, the U.S., and other parts of the world. The event is called Azusa Now on July 22-23, in Cleveland Ohio. http://www.thecall.com/azusa/cleveland
As of 07/07/2017, I have committed to join them in a 17 day of fasting and praying [leading up to the actual event] in support of this event. What impacted me the most was the 2005 prophecy by Bob Jones called the Gulliver’s prophecy was that Atlanta was mentioned in this prophecy:
[“This great man finally began to get up, breaking off all restraints and planting both of his feet in Atlanta, Georgia. Bob said, “God means to take Ohio, then move over to Indianapolis and up into Illinois, crossing over to the east and finally standing completely upright in Atlanta.” The Lord told Bob that to take Atlanta would mean capturing the whole south.”] To read the entire prophecy:http://www.bobjones.org/index.cfm?zone=/Docs/Gullivers/Travels.htm
Each day, I have listed a prayer and or a petition to God reminding Him of His promises that He alone can grant to those who are seeking His Face and have a contrite heart. [Psalms 51] I would like to share my weekly list with you in an effort to encourage those Believers who belong to God, please consider joining me in our own Georgia’s partition for personal and statewide spiritual revival! Each day there is a feature focus promise and a correlated Scripture reference to begin our prayer time together.
God’s Promise to the Believer 2 Peter 1:3-4, “According to as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these
ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
Week One
Day 1 I am a child of God.
John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
Day 2 I have the promise of eternal life.
Hebrews 9:15, “And for this cause, he [Christ] is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
Day 3 I have access to God. Romans 5:2, “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
Day 4 I have been adopted into God’s family and can call God my Father.
Romans 8:15, “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”
Day 5 I am loved by God.
John 15:9-10, “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”
Day 6 I have been chosen by God. 1 Peter 2:9-10, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people [a precious possession belonging to God]; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
Day 7 He created and fashioned me and gave me a purpose to fulfill. I am not an accident.
Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
This week’s prayers and petitions will take us to 07/14/2017. The next list will be in an additional post next week. Please consider passing this blog to those in your inner circle in hope that we can encourage as many as possible to join in with us.
Numbers 6:24-26Amplified Bible (AMP)
The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];
The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor],
And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness];
The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval],
And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].
