PRAYER
P is for Purification
Each faithful follower is in constant need of purification of one’s soul-care and maintenance throughout one’s journey on earth. Biblical reference [Psalms 51:1-19, with the reference verse: 7, Purify me with hyssop. and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.]
R is for Receive
For each prayerful follower, the daily discipline of prayer ushers you into the Holy of holies to receive God’s, Grace. Biblical reference [Hebrews 4:16, “Let us, therefore, come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.”
A is for Above
Daily prayer is the way to have one’s mind set on the things above. Prayer elevates our mind from our earthly concerns to God’s heavenly interests. Biblical reference [Matthew 6:9-13, “Our Father who is in the heavens, Your name be sanctified; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth…”]
Y is for Yielding
Faithful daily prayer will effectively yield you into the wonderful fellowship with our Lord. Our prayer time is the contact of our spirit with our Creator’s spirit. Biblical reference [John 4:24, “God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit...”
E is for Enables
Our commission by God to pray without ceasing enables Messiah to carry out His heavenly administration upon the earth. Biblical reference [Mattew 6:9-13, “Our Father who is in the heavens, Your name be sanctified; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth...”]
R is for Richly
One of the most wonderful discoveries of the prayer life of a follower of Messiah is learning how to permit the words of the Holy Scriptures to richly bless your soul by pray-reading the word during prayer time. Biblical reference [ Colossians 3:16, “Let the Word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”]
