How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don’t stand on the way of sinners or sit where scoffer sit! Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah; on His Torah, they meditate day and night.
They are like trees planted by streams-they bear their fruit in season, their leaves never wither, everything they do succeeds. Psalms 1:1-3 CJB
Preface
Grace and Peace to each of you, and may God continue to bless each of us who are seeking after Him and all of the most wonderful promises and blessings that are from Him to us His redeemed children.
Equally, let us collectively pray and live faithful before those who are wicked and sinners, that at the appointed time of their personal inquiry by the Most- High, no one will be without excuse for not knowing or seeing His presence in the earth!
On this week’s blog post, I wish to revisit and explore the above-mentioned Holy Scripture: Psalms 1:1-3, in a willful determination to discover and then partake in some of the spiritual manna from above, that will further our journey in Walking in The Messiah and a continuation of our #healthyselfchallenge that started last week.
Without question, one of the greatest honor that any human-being can possess is to have the ability to call upon an all-powerful holy God for assistance. Would you not agree?
What a miracle and a much needed daily blessing it is to be able to obtain the right and privilege to make an appeal to our Creator in an effort at obtaining divine favor in our present lives from above.
The Blessed– Divine Favor
1. How blessed,
Those who are truly blessed of God are so only because of the fact that they have been giving the spiritual ability to invoke our Heavenly Father for finding favor, approval or special benefits if not blessings from above throughout their navigation in “this wilderness experience” called Life!
How so important is this blessing?
What if any, are the necessary requirements in a follower’s life that essentially grants God’s divine favor for their lives?
First, the favor that each of us who are faithful followers, receive from God depends on His good pleasure and is often extended in response to the power of one’s heartfelt prayers as we cry out for mercy and grace as followers and servants of the Kingdom of God and its life-changing message.
The next requirement is that of righteous living.
In Peter 2:11-12, these most beautiful words speaks to what is our focus, “Dear friends, I urge you as aliens and temporary residents not to give in to the desires of your old nature, which keep warring against you, but to live such good lives among the pagans that even though they now speak against you as evil-doers, they will, as a result of seeing your good actions, give glory to God on the Day of His coming.
In addition to prayer and righteous living, God requires sacrifices to make atonement and restore His favor within our spiritual redeem lives. The last and perfect sacrifice was The Messiah on Calvary, making it possible for faithful followers to enjoy God’s favor. [2 Cor. 6:2]
What greater sacrifice is there for a follower of The Master than presenting one’s bodies as living sacrifices, holy, acceptable to God. This is a very difficult spiritual teaching for the modern-day members of the traditional and culturally driven religious institutions, as opposed to called-out disciples that are operating as the selected priesthood of believers of The Messiah. [Be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.]
There are three stages in our proving and knowing the perfect will of God!
Initially, it is our ability at discerning between the differences of good and evil, and our accepting what we know of God’s perfect will as indeed for our own transformation and regeneration throughout our journey on earth.
Next is our obtained knowledge of God’s will in special relation to ourselves as redeemed adopted children in the Kingdom of God. The will of God is not the same for all of His children, as we explore in our spiritual walk what is especially the will of God for ourselves, we learn in order to individually know what we do is actually acceptable, and well-pleasing to Him.
After our need for spiritual discernment and the special relational obtained knowledge of God’s will, a follower is encouraged to not rest contented with what they already know and do as it relates to the will of God.
For this is only the beginning, there are many various new seasons in-which will require each of us to present ourselves as children before God our Father, helpless and needing His most capable loving arms and hands, to get us through our new spiritual growth and latest trials, temptations, and testings.
We are encouraged by the Holy Spirit of God, as well as the trends and secular nature of our culture, to continue to press on, to stand perfect in all of the newer discoveries of obtained spiritual knowledge of God’s will that will further our quest to our higher callings.
Live wholly as a sacrifice of God in an effort in Living and Being in the earth to do the will of God throughout one’s wilderness experience!
are those who reject the advice of the wicked,
Those who are blessed of the Lord our God are to learn self-mastery and the needed social and relational skills set in an ongoing struggle in our need at refusing to grant, the opinion and or counsel of all who is hostile toward God and His people.
This matter of hostility is one of the spiritual absolute realities that we will never be rid of until the end of this evil generation. All entities that depict hostility is primarily directed at God and secondly, it communicates about each naturally conceived human being and their natural sinful response toward God until their spiritual regeneration. Lastly, everything else identifies the personification of Satan, the ruler of this current world.
don’t stand on the way of sinners, or sit where scoffers sit!
Those who are the blessed life-long followers of The Messiah are encouraged to remain stable in your knowledge and wisdom of the spiritually disclosed perfect will of God throughout their earthly life journey.
As we are commanded to continue to pray for and live faithfully before those who are children of darkness, there is somewhat a direct command for all of the faithful and the called out ones to consider. Sinners are called such because they continue their devotion and enslavement to sin.
The Blessed of God are the ones who now by the Holy Spirit, can walk in the Light and are to not travel the road or path of sinners or to be in session with those who are masters of contempt.
One’s inner peace and soul life is negatively and purposefully, compromised in the very presence of a scoffer by their malicious words and actions of bitterness and ridicule. Those who err in their sense of the internalized attitude of superiority will emotionally scorn before the masses while displacing outwardly the expression of scoffing.
Their Delight-The Living Torah
2. Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah; on His Torah, they meditate day and night.
Once God has successfully delivered a sinful and lost soul out of the darkness and the power of sin, a redeemed soul can find no greater pleasure or joy within their innermost being than to stay in constant contact and direction with the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings of the Most sovereign God!
One’s healthy soul-care status, as well as the Kingdom of God navigation, is an on-going personal discipline that demands that the faithful follower commits to muse, commune, speak, complain, study, consider, and put forth thoughts day and night during one’s efforts are working out one’s soul’s salvation daily.
3. They are like trees planted by streams-they bear their fruits in season, their leaves never wither, everything they do succeeds.
We who delight in seeking after and finding the perfect will of God by being a life-longer learner of The Holy Scriptures will in due season position you for the remainder of your life, like a strong tree, that is planted by rivers of living water.
This image suggests a Godly person’s position and standing planted by rivers of water, being rich in supply in an effort of developing the strongest root system needed for one’s service and devotion to God as our only source in this life.
Just as the tree soaks up water and bears luscious fruit, a Godly person likewise is to soak up the Living Word of God producing actions and attitudes, thoughts that will bring honor and praise to God.
To do this the Word of God must be firmly placed in our hearts. Those who are Godly will have a continual source of spiritual life which in turn produces stability and uninterrupted prosperity on this side of heaven. Amen!

9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.
10 With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.
11 I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I proclaim all the judgments of Your mouth.
14 I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways.
16 I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. Psalm 119:9-16
In Closing,
May the Lord continue to bless and keep you in your coming and going throughout today and this week. Thank each of you for your continued prayers and support.
