Why does a flame have no Shadow?
It is because the nature of darkness is but the very absence of Light! Thus, it is because of this reality that the essence of a shadow is nothing more than a much larger and darker surface space.
A flame is without a shadow because it is the very source of the light that we see.
Just a very brief note in the hope of encouraging and inspiring those Brothers and Sisters of the Faith who are in need of spiritual support.
You are Light for the World
For the millions of followers of The Messiah, let our faith in the Kingdom of God emulate the flame amongst this present larger, darker, and ungodly age.
Let each of us let our lights so shine before the Nations and people whom we do see, that our very works are a very visible and real reflection of God whom we cannot visibly see. [Matt. 5:14-16]
Our faith is in Things, not Seen
As it is that the flame is a very source of light, our spiritual faith is somewhat like the shadow, for a follower’s faith is the blessed assurance of things hoped for and the very conviction of things not yet seen. [Hebrews 11:1]
Our faith is to be visibly in operation even when the actual manifestations of those things that we are trusting,[Kingdom related blessings and promises] have not yet materialized into our lives.
This spiritual faith is only made possible when a follower of the Lord, knows exactly the promises and covenants of the Kingdom of God as clearly seen within the Holy Scriptures.
The evidence of the mature follower is one’s willingness to persevere through all things that are assigned to you and I, by God, even in the face of adversity and hardships.
Only then can we who are faithful and fruitful in longsuffering, will have increased confidence in God for all things now and forevermore! Amen.
