A Song of Thanksgiving
Spiritually shout joyfully in public worship with music and sacrifice to the Lord, all the earth! Cultivate with the Lord with exceeding joyfulness; go in before Him with a ringing cry of triumph.
Become acquainted that the Lord Himself is God. He is responsible for creating us, and we are His. His people, the multitude of His shepherding.
Go into His gates with thank-offerings and His enclosure with songs of praise.
Cast thanks to Him and praise His Name, for Yahweh is beautiful, and His favor is eternal; His fidelity endures through all generations. Psalms 100:1-5

“The greatest saint in the world is not he/she who prays most or fasts most; it is not he/she who gives alms, or is most eminent for temperance, chastity, or justice. It is he/she who is most thankful to God, and who has a heart always ready to praise Him”. -William Law
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6, NASB).
Our requests and intercession are to include thanksgiving as a sign of our faith. We thank the Lord in advance that He hears our prayers, and that He is about good work, bringing His will to pass in our lives. The Scriptures are filled with prayers of thanksgiving:
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds (Ps. 9:1, ESV).
To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you… (Dan. 2:23, ESV).
…addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father… (Eph. 5:19, ESV).
Grace and Peace
