The future greatness or impending implosion of America as a social experience in Democracy during this 2022 celebration, will come about by how the hearts of its citizens answer these four questions with the very complex multi-faceted problems facing our Nation.
1. Cowardice asks the question, ‘Is it safe?’
2. Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?’
3. Vanity asks the question, ‘Is it popular?’
4. But, conscience asks the question, ‘Is it right?’
Quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Beloved of God, America now has entered into its darkest hour during its modern ascent. God is not an American, He is not a Democrat, Republican, or Independent, nor is He a Christian, or religious. God’s agenda is not political nationalism but covenantal Kingdom-centric.
Our blessings or curse/judgment will be based upon what we now do unto the least of our citizens: “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:31-40
At present, we as the youngest nation in the history of the world, are on an accelerated decline and destruction faster than any other nation on record, and very well within God’s divine sovereignty!
Now is the appointed time when each American heart must take a position that is neither safe, political, nor popular, but one because one’s conscience guilds you and me to do that what is right.
We are facing not only a national crisis but a moral crisis!
People tend to judge the character and worth of others by looking at outward appearances materialism, power, and privilege. Often these are the shallow qualities we seek in a leader.
Even though America is a secular nation, God has the unique ability to see inside each person worldwide. God knows our true character because He “looks at the heart.”
Second Chronicles 16:9 says the eyes of God are continually roaming throughout the earth to strengthen people whose hearts are fully committed to Him.
God can peer into our hearts, examine our motivations, and know everything there is to know about us (Psalm 139:1). God knows if a person will be faithful. God sees what people can’t see.
America, what does God require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
