“Our Transitions in Life are Spaces for New Discovery.”

Preface

At work, this past Friday, May 14, 2021, a dear friend of mine, was led to text me Psalms 20. Like many other friends, colleagues, associates, and family members, she knew that this was my last workday as a health care professional. I have never experienced more outpouring love, support, and wonderful gifts in my life for the entire week.

I am now embarking upon an entirely new chapter if not a dimension in my life. I am semi-retired from full-time work responsibilities to that of me working toward becoming self-employed with increased flexibility with my time and talents.

Today’s blog post is my personal poetic expressive prayer that manifested within my heart after reading and meditation on Psalms 20.

I hope that the content within this manuscript may encourage and inspire others who like myself, are in transition!

Light precedes every transition. Whether at the end of a tunnel, through a crack in the door or the flash of an idea, it is always there, heralding a new beginning.” – Theresa Tsalaky

We Now Call on You our King

Heavenly Father

I am humbly seeking out Your Face at this time and very place where You have led me. In all humility my Lord, I am in dire need of Your divine blessings and favor, for only You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

As I present myself before You, I am aware that within all of Your holiness and righteousness, You require that I present myself as a living sacrifice that is set apart for Your as Your workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which You have prepared beforehand, that I should walk in them.

I willfully delight and wish to further my journey in the next transitional change that is before me. Then and only then can I please You my Lord as I willfully serve, honor, and love You with all my heart, mind, and strength, and love my neighbor as myself.

Likewise, my Lord, I am also drawing upon the collective prayers of the Beloved Community as they intercede upon my account that where You are, Lord, I also may be! To abide in the Lord as the Lord promised to abide in me shall produce a great spiritual harvest.

I forever thank You my Lord that my continued soul salvation is made so very real and possible by my spiritual union in the Messiah who is my faithful Lord, High Priest, and King. For He alone is my Great Protector and Defender in this life. He alone is leading and making visible to my eyes, newer spiritual ministries, and opportunities. He is my rock and my strong tower while protecting and defeating all evil within me and outside of me.

Within my living soul, the deep living waters of my heart is where we tabernacle together, as You teach me to worship You in spirit and truth. I rejoice all the more that by Your will, You continue to fearfully and wonderfully craft and transform my heart into the very likeness of Christ my Lord.

My Lord, the ongoing plea that I submit unto You is that You will enable me to faithfully fulfill all of the new challenges that You have made ready for me! I delight in the reality that only by Your mighty Right Hand, You continue to deliver me and save me thus blessing my entire soul with Your heavenly grace and peace.

Only in Your Holy Name can I find security and unspeakable joy within my life. I ask that You use me as a banner, as Your light, and a magnet to draw others to the Knowledge of You and Your eternal plan of redemption. Please anoint my hands and feet supernaturally in that, all that I touch and each place in which You lead me may leave a little heaven behind.

Heavenly Father, all of my trust is found in Your faithfulness and are eternally promised in Your covenants that have been set before me. This is one of the major reasons that I call out Your name privately and publicly, for all of who I am to become, is interconnected into my total dependence in You my God.

My humble plea to You Father is my deepest expression of my ultimate confidence in You that whatever is before me, my assurance of success and overcoming is manifested initially within my soul, and then at the appointed season and timing, by Your hand, it is revealed into the earth that all that You empower me to do in Your name, will boldly glorify You in Heaven! Amen.

5. With an entire love; he is ONE, our hearts must be united in his love. Ohthat this love of God may be shed abroad in our hearts! And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:6:6-16 Here are means for maintaining and keeping up our Faith in our hearts andhouses. 1. Meditation. God’s words must be laid up in our hearts, that our thoughtsmay be daily employed about them. 2. The religious education of children. Often repeat these things to them.Be careful and exact in teaching thy children. Teach these truths to all whoare any way under thy care. 3. Pious discourse. Thou shall talk of these things with due reverence andseriousness, for the benefit not only of thy children, but of thy servants, thyfriends and companions. Take all occasions to discourse with those aboutthee, not of matters of doubtful disputation, but of the plain truths and lawsof God, and the things that belong to our peace. 4. Frequent reading of the word, as it is to us in the intent of it; which is,that we should by all means make the word of God familiar to us; that wemay have it ready to use upon all occasions, to restrain us from sin, anddirect us in duty. We must never be ashamed to own our faith and relationship with God orHis Beloved community. Here is a caution not to forget God in a day ofprosperity and plenty. When they came easily by the gift, they would be aptto grow secure, and unmindful of the Giver. Sin as the ultimate source of Rejection for all livingsouls! Here are nine ways:#1 Our sin keeps God from hearing our criesIsaiah 59:2 says…5“But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.”#2 We ignore Jesus’ sacrifice for usHebrews 10:26 teaches us…“For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.”#3 We can delude ourselves into thinking we are fine on our own1 John 1:8 says…“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”#4 Disobeying the leading of the Holy Spirit is sinfulJames 4:17 says…“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”#5 Sin leads to deathJames 1:14-15 says…“But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.”#6 Sin will ultimately lead to eternal separation from GodRevelation 20:15 says…“And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was throwninto the lake of fire.”#7 Turning away from God will result in His turning away from usMicah 3:4 says…“Then they will cry to the LORD, but He will not answer them; He will hide His face from them at that time, because they have made their deeds evil.”6#8 Sin should be immediately followed by repentanceRevelation 2:4-5 says…“But I have this against you that you have abandoned the love you had at first.Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place, unless you repent.”#9 Sin is never the right pathProverbs 14:12 says…“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”While we may not be able to control all major systemic evils outside of our soul life, weas believers and followers of the Messiah now have the spiritual tools to control our willvia the power of God’s love, grace and mercy. The power of our personal relations to others is what gives them their importance for the formation of our spirit and our entire life-for good, or for bad. And ofcourse our body is the focus of these relations from its DNA to “looks” from touching and working together to talking and praying together. But being with others, our social dimension is also inseparable from our inner thought, feelings, choices, and actions. Their existence and nature are not independent of our social setting. Our relation to Christ, our Savior, is located in the social dimension, along with our place in His body on earth-which is the Body of Christ, the beloved community or the organic Church.
